Brief Description
Typed letter in grey (typewriter ribbon) ink on white paper, dated 18th November 1861. It is addressed to "the President of the Board of Land and Works, Melbourne", and asks that the Melbourne Cricket Club be given Trusteeship over land, marked out in accordance with the Plan deposited in the office of the Surveyor General, in the same way as the rights are granted to the Trustees of the Melbourne Race Course. It mentions work that has already been carried out, work that they would like to do, and that there are about 250 club members. It is signed "Your most obedient servant, R.C. BAGOT".
