Brief Description
Leather and cloth bound minute book (286 pages) titled, THE CHRONICLES OF THE McCONCHIE CRICKET CLUB. The Chronicle contains handwritten records, statistics, biographical notes, summaries, and scores from every cricket match played by the club from its foundation in 1908 to 1937. The records from this journal were compiled from club score books by Henry Armine Morris. The frontispiece notes a dedication 'To the three elder brothers McConchie/ Joseph, Adam, Robert/... '. The dedication is signed and dated 31 July 1937. The McConchie Cricket Club was based in Richmond, Melbourne.
