Brief Description
Strip of small cloth badge/ribbon squares, three joined together, machine-manufactured thin black cotton, each featuring an embroidered image of a football player about to kick a ball, wearing the white and red guernsey of the South Melbourne Football Club. The players' socks and guernsey sash are red. These badges, which were sold in horizontal ribbon strips and featured all the Victorian Football League clubs, were made locally and sold to schoolboys to be sewn onto caps.
