Brief Description
Small square cloth badge/ribbon, machine-manufactured thin black cotton with embroidered image of a football player about to kick a ball, wearing the black and white striped guernsey of the Collingwood Football Club. The ball and the player's boots are the only coloured section of the badge - light brown. These badges, which were sold in horizontal ribbon strips and featured all the Victorian Football League clubs, were made locally and sold to schoolboys to be sewn onto caps.
