Brief Description
Soft ground hand-coloured etching, full-length portrait of Alfred Mynn in cricket uniform, consisting of white pants and shirt, cravat, and top hat. He is depicted holding a cricket ball in his left hand, and is standing on the Lord's Cricket Ground with fence, house, and trees in the background. This print is the fifth in John Corbet Anderson's noted series of portraits of celebrated English cricketers titled "Sketches at Lord's Ground", which was dedicated to the members of the Marylebone Cricket Club. Handwritten in pencil verso "Alfred Mynn Esq."
