Brief Description
Newspaper photograph/photo engraving of a cricketer in a posed bowling stance next to a set of stumps. The item is attached to a sheet of card with clear, plastic photograph corners. Below the image is a brief, printed biography headed 'C.V. GRIMMETT, Bowler'. A facsimile of his signature is printed at the bottom left of the image. Although born in New Zealand, Grimmett played 37 Tests for Australia, capturing 216 wickets at an average of 24.21.
