Brief Description
Programme for a day of athletics events at the Main Stadium (MCG) during the 1956 Olympic Games. The booklet consists of 16 pages with lists of committee members, a key to the arena, and a programme of events which include javelin, pole vault, 100 metres (women), 200 metres, 800 metres and 5000 metres. The back cover has a summarised programme of events and map of Melbourne showing the competition venues. Annotations and athlete (?) signatures inside pages.
