Brief Description
Handwritten letter in pencil on paper that can be folded into an envelope. "Egypt" is written at the top left, and it is addressed "Dear Elsa" and is from "Rupert Steele". The letter thanks the addressee for her letter received on Christmas Day and has general comments about his life in Egypt, on active service. On the back, which would be the front of the envelope, is the address in pencil and three stamps.
