Brief Description
Three-quarter portrait of a male standing with his hands in front of his waist with fingers interlocked. His right elbow rests on a support. He is portrayed on a blood-red background wearing a grey suit, white shirt and Melbourne Cricket Club tie.The artist's signature is bottom right. The painting is housed in a moulded, gilded, wooden frame beneath a sheet of acrylic glass. A plaque attached to the frame below the image is inscribed, "JOHN LILL / SECRETARY 1983-2000 / Artist: Wes Walters".
