Brief Description
Drawing/watercolour titled, "Proposed Addition to the University Pavilion, Oxford." Pencil and watercolour featuring multi-pitched roofed building with several chimneys and a tower/turret alongside a small grandstand. Two people stand on the front steps below an ornate veranda. A game of cricket is being played on the ground in front. Handwritten title lower left edge: 'Proposed addition to the University Pavilion, Oxford'; handwritten date and name on right lower edge: 'T.G. Jackson, Archt., May 1, 1886'. Originally M6588.1 and M6588.2 were mounted and framed together in a single black and gold wooden frame. Verso exhibition label.
