Brief Description
Early reproduction of colour lithographic print on olive green coloured paper of Mr Gilbert Laird Jessop in cricket whites and a blue and yellow cap. Jessop is in a semi-crouched position with a cricket ball in his left hand ready to throw. Inscription printed at lower left reads 'Mr G. L. Jessop.'. Printed at lower right edge is inscription of artist's signature and date. It reads 'A. Chevallier Tayler / 1905.'. One of a series of 12 works entitled 'The Empire's Cricketers'.
