Brief Description
Cricket bat that has been used and signed. The front of the bat has been branded by the manufacturer. The inscription below the handle reads, "YORKS XI / ENGLAND XI / THE / Herbert Sutcliffe / AUTOGRAPH". This is then followed by "Stuart Surridge / & CO. LIMITED / LONDON". The back of the bat has also been branded, reads, "A.A.AMENITIES SERVICE"; and, "PLEASE RETURN / THIS HANDLE TO / AMENITIES OFFICER". Also on the back there is a handwritten inscription. Further down the bat there is a series of signatures from members of the Australian and English Infantry Cricket Teams.
