Brief Description
Album page of heavy brown card with five black and white photographs on obverse and four on reverse. The five photographs are of cricketers walking from the ground. The heading, handwritten in white paint, is chipped and almost illegible. It reads, "2nd Test Cricket Match - MCC - Jan. 1925". Handwritten in the same fragile white paint below each photograph are the players name. From top left to right; photo 1, "Hearne, Kelleway, Taylor"; photo 2, "Hobbs"; photo 3 is missing, but the names "Gregory, Gilligan, Tate" are listed. From bottom left to right; photo 4, "Gilligan, Chapman, Woolley, Hearne, Strudwick"; photo 5 (written in blue ink), "Douglas"; photo 6, "Douglas". This player's name has also been written on the photo in blue ballpoint pen. On reverse are four photographs of young people in bathing costumes at the beach and baths in Sorrento. The heading is handwritten in white paint and is close to being illegible. It reads, "Sorrento - Jan. 25 - Baths".
