Brief Description
The 'Shark Fin Golf Cart' used during the Sydney 2000 Olympics Closing Ceremony, refers to the contribution to Australian sport by the golfer, Greg Norman, who is known as "The Shark". The body of the vehicle is shaped like a shark fin, and is constructed with metal framing and chicken wire, covered with clear plastic wrap. Like a buggy, the vehicle is mounted onto two wheels, and is manoeuvred from a handle protruding from the body.
