Brief Description
Black pen-and-ink cartoon with the title "ARTHUR / MAILEY'S / NEW BOOK / CRICKET SKETCHES / AND STORIES / A LAUGH IN EVERY / PAGE / PRICE 1/-". A cartoon takes up the right side of the page, depicting three men near some stumps: "Mr Jardine" standing and looking down on "Mr Larwood" who is on his hands and knees,with"Bert Rogerson" in the background, holding a bat. Jardine is asking Larwood "WHAT'S UP HAROLD AREN'T YOU GOING TO BOWL?" to which Larwood replies "BOWL? WHY I WAS TOLD THAT GOLD COULD BE PICKED UP IN NUGGETS IN BALLARAT AND I'M LOOKING FOR IT".
