Brief Description
An example of a 2000 Watt light globe used in the six light towers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The main body of the globe consists of a cylindrical glass container around a filament. The base of the globe has a threaded screw that attaches to the light reflector. A printed inscription on the glass reads, "PHILLIPS / HP1 / T 200w / 220 ... O4 / MADE IN BELGIUM".
