Brief Description
Small envelope that was used to store three turf samples. The turf samples were removed from the pitch at the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the Centenary Test. The front of the envelope has a handwritten inscription in black ink that reads, "DO NOT LOSE / CENTENARY TEST TURF / COLLECTED FOR GREGORY / BY / UNCLE LINDSAY & THE SILLY MUDDITT / ON / THURSDAY 17TH MARCH 1977".
