Brief Description
Identification card number 01524 issued by the Berlin Olympic Committee to Australian Olympic boxer, Leslie Thomas Harley, whose photograph and personal details are on the front of the card. The card also features the Berlin Games emblem - an eagle and Olympic rings - between red printed text that reads 'OLYMPIA AUSWEIS'. The reverse is headed 'Das/ NATIONALE OLYMPISCHE KOMITEE'/ Australia/ ...', and is stamped at the bottom by the Australian Olympic Federation. A central panel lists a number of roles or categories. For Les Harley, the top category 'Aktiver Teilnehmer' [Active participant/Competitor] has been marked with a typed 'x'.
