Brief Description
A dark blue tie featuring two silver diagonal stripes. Between the stripes are three sets of silver insignia. The top looks to be an ancient Roman heraldic staff mounted onto a base, with the year '1977' beneath it. The middle insignia is a hoisted triangular flag, half silver, half blue. The lower insignia is that of the Middlesex County Cricket Club, comprising of three 'seaxes' or heraldic swords/daggers. Middlesex CCC were the 1977 Champions in the Gillette Cup, the English County One-Day Cricket Series.
