Brief Description
Nine unused stamps from the Dominican Republic mounted onto a gridded sheet featuring typed descriptive text. Eight commemorate the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. Each features the image of a track and field athlete from around the world, including a 2 cent stamp of Betty Cuthbert of Australia. The ninth stamp is a national stamp dating to 1959.
