Watercolour painting on dark tan paper, depicting a cricket scene in progress. All 11 fielders are visible, along with two batsmen and two umpires. In the background is trees and to one side is a clubhouse with spectators. The bottom left-hand corner is signed with G.P. [the G may be an S], 1922. White (sale) sticker lower left '581' in biro. Verso in pencil top left corner "Sussex v Hants'., Writing on reverse reads "421".
