Brief Description
Black and white photograph of eleven men from the Yorkshire CCC. All are wearing cricket whites and caps, with two wearing striped blazers. Photo commemorates the Yorkshire v Surrey county match, played at Bramall Lane, in Sheffield, from 4-6 July, 1887. Rectangular piece of cardboard, printed with information is mounted underneath the photograph. The title reads, "YORKSHIRE TEAM VERSUS SURREY. / PLAYED AT BRAMALL LANE, SHEFFIELD, JULY 4, 5 & 6, 1887". There are also the names of eleven players.
