Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Ground scoreboard banner. Mounted black fabric with the name in black paint "BRADMAN" . Banner was used in the Melbourne Cricket Ground scoreboard during the 1930s and 1940s.
Banner used on previous scoreboard at Melbourne Cricket Ground. It is made of a cotton-based material with block letters painted in white paint that read "BRADMAN". Banner sewn onto black nylon netting and then affixed to a foamcore board with Velcro strips and staples.
