Brief Description
A piece of twined black and white cord, tied at each end, encircling the base of a large glass dome (M2919.10). The dome was originally used as a display cover for the contents comprising a football trophy (M2919.1- .9). The trophy was presented to William A. O'Cock as captain of the Collingwood Trades Football Club who were premiers in 1905. Collingwood Trades was part of a Wednesday football competition. The penny (M2919.2), football (M2919.3), and rosette (M2919.9) were those used on the day of the premiership win.
