Brief Description
Envelope issued with Melbourne Cricket Club membership medallion, number F 14497. Envelope is small, rectangular, cream-coloured, and opens at the top. Inscription on front in portrait format, printed in black ink, reads, "F No. 14497 / MELBOURNE / CRICKET CLUB / MEMBER'S BADGE / SEASON 1986/87 / SEASON ENDS 31ST AUGUST / 1987 / NOT TRANSFERABLE / PATRICE PRODUCTS / PTY. LTD. / 17 MARY PARADE / RYDALMERE, N.S.W. 2116". On reverse is an inscription in landscape format, in black ink, reading, "MEMBERS' MEDALLIONS / The enclosed Badge for Season 1986-87 is / issued with cord attached and must always / be worn by the Member when attending / functions held at the ground. / Members will not be admitted unless in / possession of Badge, which is not transfer- / able under any circumstances and any misuse / renders the Member liable to be dealt with / under Rule 58. / JOHN LILL, Secretary / By Order of the Committee".
