Handwritten letter from Mr S M Bailey, found in a scrapbook compiled by Richard Cave from 1920 to 1938. Most probably addressed to Cave, the letter reads, in part, "... / 15.10.41. / Dear Sir / Very many thanks for lending me / your album of cricket cuttings. A great tonic / to read during these ghastly days. / ... / Yours Sincerely, / S. M. Bailey".
