Brief Description
Medal featuring the Australian coat-of-arms with lettering above, "ASUA", and "50th ANNIVERSARY CARNIVAL 1959" in a border panel. A green and yellow striped ribbon, with suspension panel and fixing pin, is attached to the medal with a suspension ring.

My late father (Ron Carney) was also awarded this medal at the same carnival at North Sydney Olympic Pool in 1959 (your record wrongly says 1969). I once saw a two-page program amongst his papers but, alas, it's now lost. Do you have that in your collection?
