Brief Description
Black and white photograph of Shirley Strickland running to the left, striding across the finish line of a race first, with two other women following. Shirley wears a light sleeveless top, dark shorts, and dark spikes. The other women wear the numbers '91' and '2' on their tops. "Leederville/ Shirlie (sic), Verna Johnson (sic), Pam Robertson" has been handwritten on the reverse in ink, under a very faint purple "WA NEWSPAPERS LTD" stamp.
