Brief Description
Large black and white photograph of the finish of a race with seven women, five of them mostly visible. Shirley Strickland is second from the right in the foreground, her eyes screwed shut. All wear light coloured sleeveless tops and dark shorts, Shirley's shorts having only a single stripe. Inscription handwritten on the reverse in pencil, reads, "Brisbane- finish controversy".
