Brief Description
Trade card book with brown cardboard cover printed with an orange foliage design and text. The text reads "ORIENT / CIGARETTE CARD / ALBUM / TRIPLE STRENGTH LEAVES TO WITHSTAND / WEAR IN HANDLING". Inside are pages of the same brown card as the cover, with slits for the corners of trading cards to slide into, 6 on each side (12 per page). The cards, coloured and black & white, have head shots of cricketers, issued with B.D.V. Cigarettes and John Player & Sons.
There are 10 pages in all, with 5 cards on each page except 7 and 10 (with 4 cards) and 9 (with no cards). The 4 cards on page 10 were found loose within the album, and may be inserted where they best fit if wanted.
