Brief Description
Medium-sized rectangular trade card with a sepia-coloured image featuring a portrait of a cricketer. Along the bottom the text reads 'M.TATE/SUSSEX.' On the reverse side there is black printed text on light brown card that reads in part 'M. W. TATE/(SUSSEX)/England's best Bowler/during recent years.' Card dates from the c. 1930's. This card is similar to M12695.15 which was issued with 'Hoadley's 5-Star Bubble Gum'.
