Brief Description
Medium-sized rectangular trade card with a sepia-coloured image featuring a portrait of a cricketer. Along the bottom the text reads 'E.PAYNTER/LANCASHIRE.' On the reverse side there is black printed text on light brown card that reads in part 'E. PAYNTER/(LANCASHIRE)/A good left-hand/Batsman.' Card dates from the c. 1930's. This card is similar to M12695.13 which was issued with 'Hoadley's 5-Star Bubble Gum'.
