Medium-sized rectangular trade card with a sepia-coloured image featuring a portrait of a cricketer. Along the bottom the text reads 'W.R.HAMMOND/GLOUCESTER.' On the reverse side there is black printed text on light brown card that reads in part 'W. R. HAMMOND/(GLOUCESTERSHIRE)/A forcing batsman, good/bowler and brilliant field.' Card dates from the c. 1930's. This card is similar to M12695.7 which was issued with 'Hoadley's 5-Star Bubble Gum'.
