Brief Description
Medium-sized rectangular trade card with a sepia-coloured image featuring a portrait of a cricketer. Along the bottom the text reads 'G.O.ALLEN/MIDDLESEX.' On the reverse side there is black printed text on light brown card that reads in part 'G. O. ALLEN/(MIDDLESEX)/A good fast Bowler and/aggressive Batsman.' Card dates from the c. 1930's. This card is similar to M12695.1 which was issued with 'Hoadley's 5-Star Bubble Gum'.
