Brief Description
Black and white photograph of Shirley Strickland standing on a set of aeroplane steps, hand raised in farewell to the four men in suits standing on the tarmac. She carries a dark handbag and large parcel under one arm, and wears a matching skirt and jacket with a spotted headscarf. Purple 'Bob March' photographer's stamp is on the reverse, along with a typewritten label that reads in part "SHIRLEY STRICKLAND being farewelled by the G.U. Team, following/ OLYMPIC GAMES' premiere", with a listing of the men pictured.
