Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Club membership medallion for the year 1984-85, of irregular shape, medallion number F4593, with light blue rope-cord threaded through hole in top. Obverse features red, navy, yellow and gold enamel decoration on the silver metal base: at top is featured the MCC logo in gold lettering on a yellow background; beneath in gold on a red background is MELBOURNE / CRICKET CLUB; in the third section is the medallion number in navy enamel on a gold strip; and beneath, are the years 84-85 in gold on a navy background. Inscription embossed on reverse reads NOT / TRANSFERABLE / SEASON ENDS / 31ST. AUGUST / 1985. Manufacturer's details at base: BRIM / MELB.
