Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Club membership medallion for the year 1976-77, of irregular octagonal shape, medallion number F8410, with blue plastic cord threaded through hole in top. Obverse features red, navy, white and gold enamel decoration on the gold-coloured metal base: at top is featured the years "76-77" in gold on white background; the middle gold band features the medallion number in navy enamel; and the lower section features the MCC logo in bold gold lettering on a red background, with a leaf design on either side in gold. Inscription embossed on reverse reads MEMBER / NOT TRANSFERABLE / SEASON ENDS / 31ST AUGUST 1977, and the manufacturer's details beneath: PERFECTION BADGES / MELBOURNE 2335118.
