Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Club membership medallion for the year 1973-74, shaped like an irregular oblong, medallion number 9021, with dark maroon cord threaded through hole in top. Obverse features red, white and blue enamel decoration on the gold-coloured metal base: the top third featuring the years 73 and 74 on either side of a large 'F' on a blue background; the middle gold band featuring the medallion number in white enamel; and the lower third the MCC logo in gold lettering on a red base. Inscription embossed on reverse reads NOT / TRANSFERABLE / SEASON ENDS/ 31ST AUGUST 1974, and the manufacturer's name beneath.
