Brief Description
Shield-shaped Melbourne Cricket Club junior membership medallion for the year 1971-72, medallion number 564. Green rope-cord threaded through hole in top. Obverse features red and white enamel decoration on a gold metal base: the top third featuring MCC in gold lettering on a red base; the middle gold band featuring the medallion number in white enamel; and the lower third the years 71 and 72 on either side of a large 'J'. Inscription embossed on reverse reads SEASON ENDING / 31ST AUGUST 1972 / NOT TRANSFERABLE. No manufacturer's details.
