Brief Description
Small, round, brass-coloured metal Melbourne Cricket Club membership medallion with small hole and attached ring at top. The obverse features the MCC emblem in the centre, the C's intertwined through the 'legs' of the M. Embossed inscription surrounding the emblem in a circle reads MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB 42- 43. Inscription embossed around outer edge of reverse reads NOT TRANSFERRABLE / SEASON ENDS 31ST AUG. 1943, at the centre of which is engraved the medallion number 2082. The hallmark K.G. LUKE/ MELB also embossed at bottom.
