Brief Description
Square-shaped gold-coloured Melbourne Cricket Club membership medallion with blue cord-rope attached through hole in top. Obverse features a circle with red, blue and white enamel decoration covered with a lacquer-type glaze. Top third of circle is blue and features a white F at centre, on either side of which are the years 68 and 69 in gold. The central band is gold and features the medallion number 8688 in white enamel. The lower third features the initials MCC. Inscription embossed on the reverse reads NOT / TRANSFERABLE / SEASON ENDING / 31ST AUGUST 1969, with the maker's mark below.
