Brief Description
Two identical lapel pins pinned and affixed with yellowed adhesive tape to a yellow piece of card that folds back over them. Pins are round, metal-backed, with white plastic rounded front. A black and white head-and-shoulder photograph of a smiling Shirley Strickland sits in the middle, with "1956/ OLYMPIC GAMES" printed above, and "SHIRLEY STRICKLAND/ Athletics" in smaller print below, on a yellow strip. A green laurel- wreath motif runs around the border. Sent to Shirley by T.G. Davies, Managing Director of Lever Brothers Pty Ltd.
