Black and white photograph of Shirley Strickland wearing a dark tracksuit, smiling as she is kissed on either cheek by Betty Cuthbert and Fleur Mellor, two of her Australian team-mates, along with Norma Croker, who shattered the women's 4x100m sprint relay world record to win gold at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne. Cuthbert and Mellor both wear the uniforms in which they had just run the race.
