Brief Description
Cricket bat presented in a clear perspex and light wood display case. The bat features a spliced blade and handle covered with black rubber grip. A green, gold, white and blue label is adhered to the face of the blade, bearing the Kookaburra and ACB logos. A coloured, circular sticker below reads, "EMIRATES AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM / WORLD CUP 1999". This is followed by the names and signatures of players from the Australian Cricket Team. Below the bat is a brass plaque inscribed, "THIS BAT, SIGNED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE / AUSTRALIAN WORLD CUP 1999 / CHAMPION TEAM / WAS PRESENTED TO / MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB / BY THE / AUSTRALIAN CRICKET BOARD".
