Purple-tinged photograph of Shirley Strickland standing with the other 3 members of the 1956 Olympic Games gold medal-winning and record-breaking Australian women's 4 x 100m relay team, Fleur Mellor, Betty Cuthbert and Norma Croker. The women are all wearing their Australian logo tracksuits. Spectators are visible behind them.
