Brief Description
Note, handwritten in blue ink on a piece of discoloured paper, from Ewa Berkowska of Poland to Shirley Strickland's son Philip (Pip), reads "Unknown & beloved/ tiny Pip/ Be proud of your/ mother, who in Warsaw/ obtained such wonderful/ results/ Wishing you that you/ should be the pride/ of your parents and/ that you should never/ feel the cruelty of war." Ewa's address is on the RH side of the page.
