Brief Description
Pair of brown catcher's leg guards, worn by South Melbourne Baseball Club player Jack Ellis in the 1920s-30s. The front is hard plastic and leather, with canvas and felt padding along the back. There are three 'registers' of elastic strapping, which are secured with metal clips.
