Object Detail

Brief Description
Cylindrical wooden container with lid. On outside is a label, reading, in part, "Parker's / DEAD-BLACK / FOR / RIFLE / SIGHTS.". Container holds a glass bottle (with a metal lined rubber stopper/application brush) containing the powdery remnants of the originally liquid formula. 'Dead-Black' was used to clean rifle sights, which are the eyepieces shooters use to aim their shots.
