Brief Description
Cricket bat with sealed, spliced blade and twine-bound handle covered with black rubber grip. On the reverse are the signatures, in black ink, of members of the Australian and Indian Cricket Teams, dated 1947. The lower left part of the blade has broken and the wood split. The maker's mark MELBOURNE SPORTS DEPOT has been stamped on the front near the shoulder.
