Domestic items/Writing equipment/Pencil box
Card box, with pull-out tray, lined with gold printed blue paper. Inscription on top reads: 'JOHANN FABER/(BAVARIA.)/New Silverine Pencil/with 6 spare Lead Pencils/No. 3825.'. This item is undated but would be around 100 years old. Two items found inside - small metal rods x 2 each with a screw part at 1 end ( but they don't screw together). End of one of the objects is round; end of the other object has 'needle eye' - i.e. for thread to run through.
